Charity Santa’s Cabin
Santa is coming all the way from the North Pole with the help of Matthew Stephens Jewellers. Throughout the month of December, he will be located in Santa's Cabin in Limerick's Urban Garden outside Penneys on O'Connell Street.
Right in the heart of busy, bustling Limerick, this Santa's Cabin has its Christmas tree, icicle lights, twinkly windows, Santa's Elves and even a fireplace to keep Santa Claus cosy and snug on his visit to Limerick City. It is truly MAGIC!
Entry is free but donations are welcome and all funds raised will go to local charities...learn more.
Christmas Charity Concert with Phil Coulter
St. Mary's Cathedral will welcome world renowned song writer and musician, Mr Phil Coulter to the Cathedral for a Christmas Charity Concert on Sunday 8th December at 8pm.
All proceeds from the event go to support two local charities – Novas Limerick and Limerick Marine Search & Rescue. It promises to be a beautiful festive night of music. Come along and support two local causes...learn more.
Christmas at Dreamland
'The Magic of Christmas' awaits you in Dreamland Limerick from 30th November - 22nd December. Jump on Santa’s Flight of Dreams, meet Mrs Claus and the elves in the post office to write that special letter to Santa, climb to the treehouse to meet Woody & Friends, meet a princess in the Castle of Dreams and make your 'Christmas Wish' and help Mrs Claus make delicious cupcakes.
An initiative of the Share a Dream Foundation, Dreamland is the first ever fully accessible and all inclusive play centre in Europe. It's a place where all children and families will feel welcome.
A €12 entry fee for adults will supplement the cost of allowing sick and disabled children to visit Dreamland for free...learn more.
Novas Christmas Sleep-Out
Novas holds its annual Christmas Sleep-Out on Friday 20th of December. For the first time ever, there will be three sleep-outs running simultaneously on the night, in Ennis, Thurles and Limerick.
There will be music, tea, carols, donation buckets, and a large team of dedicated volunteers sleeping out under Brown Thomas. This year, Novas want as many people as possible to get involved and take part...learn more.
Christmas Blanket 5k
Take part in a 5k and give the gift of warmth! Limerick Sports Partnership will host their annual Christmas blanket 5k on Sunday 1st December at 11am.
There is no fee for this event, instead they are asking participants to donate clean blankets or a shoebox with items such as new underwear, socks, hat, gloves, and toiletries for either a female or male adult in Limerick.

A Festive Choir Evening
Newcastle West & District Lions Club present a festive choir evening on Thursday December 5th at 7.45pm, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West. Free entry and all are welcome!
A collection will be taken up at the interval with the proceeds to be donated to the Desmond Complex in Newcastle West, which offers Day Care facilities, a Resource Centre and an integrated childcare facility for both pre-school and after-school groups of children...learn more.
