Limerick Youth Service (LYS) will hold their annual Christmas Fair at LYS Community Training Centre, Lr. Glentworth St, Limerick on Thursday, December 12th (10am-2pm). The Christmas Fair, one of the most popular events in Limerick’s festive calendar, will give the Limerick public the opportunity to experience a Christmas Fair - LYS style!

Patrons will also have the opportunity to sample some of the festive cuisines from LYS bakery and catering courses such as mince pies, puddings, Christmas cakes and more.

Traditional gifts such as Christmas wreaths, flowers and yuletide logs will also be available, as well as kennels, birdhouses and flower baskets, made by learners at LYS Wood Art Employability programme.

The family friendly event is open to all with a spokesperson for LYS confirming that a certain man from the North Pole will make an appearance to see who has been naughty or nice!

LYS Community Training Centre delivers a number of education, employability and training programmes and opportunities for young people (16-21yrs).

This provision is supported by Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board and co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014 - 2020.

A member of Youth Work Ireland, LYS remains committed to connecting with young people and supporting them to reach their full potential.
